In 1991, as a junior in high school, I got a job at Marvelous Market – in the spot that is now Little Red Fox – when it first opened. There were lines around the block. I felt so lucky to be able to work on that bustling block with not only the best bread in town, but also the best bookshop in town, Politics & Prose.
